The air of Gaiety and Festivity engulfed the premises of Guru Nanak Public School, Sector 36 D, Chandigarh during the second day of Annual Function “ Joie De Vivre” depicting the value’ the joy of finding higher Purpose of Life’ amidst great splendor, zeal and resplendence. The cultural fiesta was marked by a series of exotic talents, thus creating the festive mood. 60 items brimming with effusive energy were showcased by the students in these 3 days celebration.
Each act portrayed an important message and the cherry on the cake was 100% participation of the students.The inaugural evening commenced with a rendition of the school shabad, which serenaded the gathering, enveloping the audience in a transcendent aura followed by the traditional lamp lighting ceremony.The August Gathering was graced by the distinguished presence of Ms. Prerna Puri , Commissioner/ Secretary to the government , IT Deptt, UT of J & K .
The students, in an impeccable display of warmth and respect, greeted her with a melodious welcome song.The Cultural Fiesta was marked by a series of exotic talents, thus creating the festive mood. Infused with energy and enthusiasm, students of GNPS showcased their inherent talent and potential through captivating performances. The musical fiesta by Tiny Tots set the mood of the program. Items like Unity in Diversity, Senior Citizens, Women Empowerment and Artificial Intelligence stole the show. The festivity rode to the final crescendo with the most fervent amalgamation of all the items in form of item “Happy India, Prosperous India”. The ground of GNPS reverberated with thunderous round of applause extolling the performers with immense love and supports.Principal, Ms. Gurnam Kaur Grewal presented Annual Report highlighting the achievements of the school. Achievers in the field of Academics, Sports, NCC and Co- Curricular activities were felicitated with certificates and trophies. Vice- Principal, Dr. Dolly Gupta visibly moved, conveyed her profound gratitude through a heartfelt Vote of Thanks.
