Guru Nanak Public School, Sector -36 D, Chandigarh celebrated its Annual Function. The Cultural Bonanza theme for 3rd day marked the end of 3 days Annual Gala. A myriad of celebrations replete with music, dazzling dances and hues of colours amidst great zest, vibrancy and elation. The cultural fiesta was marked by a series of exotic talents, thus creating the festive mood. 60 items brimming with effusive energy were showcased by the students in these 3 days celebration. Each act portrayed an important message and the cherry on the cake was 100% participation of the students.
The August gathering was graced by the distinguished presence of S D.S Mangat (IPS Retd.,) Former DGP, Punjab. Principal , Ms Gurnam Kaur Grewal welcome the eminent guests and presented the Annual Report which artfully delineated the illustrious achievements and pivotal milestones achieved by Guru Nanak Public School over the course of the preceding year.
The Cultural Fiesta was marked by a series of exotic talents, thus creating the festive mood. Infused with energy and enthusiasm, students of GNPS showcased their inherent talent and potential through captivating performances. The program commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by the school shabad. The festivity included melodious recitals, energetic dances and thought-provoking enactments. Senior Students presented Shadow Dance which showcased India’s astronomical odyssey of successfully conquering ‘The Moon Mission’.
Another remarkable enactment was a U.V dance that depicted the life of Maharaja Ranjeet Singh and was applauded by the August Gathering. Speaking on the occasion, Principal, Ms Gurnam Kaur Grewal expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the guests for taking out time from their busy schedule to be a part of the celebrations. Principal Madam presented the Annual Report enumerating the achievements of the students. Awards and certificates were conferred to students under multifarious categories. Vice- Principal, Dr. Dolly Gupta proposed the Vote of Thanks. The efforts of Staff, Students and the Support Staff were applauded by the Parents.
