THE LAMP OF KNOWLEDGE CEREMONY

St. Stephen’s School hosted its forty-first ‘Lamp of Knowledge’ ceremony in the school auditorium on February 8th and 9th. The students of Class 10 passed on the ceremonial lamp to Class 9 as a symbolic gesture, keeping with the sacred tradition initiated by the Director, Mr. Harold Carver. The two day event was concluded by a cultural programme on the 10th to bid a heartwarming farewell to the outgoing batch. A repertoire of vibrant dances, soulful renditions and evocative poems were presented. The programme culminated in the awarding of titles for Mr. and Ms. Stephenian. Mithilesh Katyal and Kirti Khanna were bestowed with the coveted titles of Mr. and Ms. Stephenian for their exemplary qualities. On behalf of the Director, the Managing trustee, Ms. Diana Carver, coordinators and staff, the Principal, Mr. Barry Francis conveyed his best wishes to Class 10 for the oncoming board examinations.
